Brioche Croutons
Turn your stale brioche buns into crispy, buttery seasoned croutons.
If you can resist eating them as a snack (not easy), use them to top soups or toss into salads.

Makes about 2 cups
Ingredients
2 cups stale brioche cubes
3 TB salted butter
1/2 tsp dried Italian herbs
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp paprika
Preparation
Melt butter, herbs and spices in a microwave safe bowl on HIGH for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
In a large bowl, toss the brioche cubes with the melted butter mixture. Spread croutons on a large microwave safe plate (such as a dinner plate). Do not crowd the croutons on the plate.
Microwave on HIGH 45 seconds to 1 minute. Watch closely to avoid burning the croutons.
Carefully remove plate from microwave. Cool croutons on plate.
Store croutons in an airtight container.
